If you love whisky drinks, celebrate like a Latin music star during the Billboard Latin Music Awards with the event’s official cocktail, The Breeze of Miami. Created by Mixologist, J.D. Marin, the cocktail is distinctively festive for one of music’s biggest nights and perfect for serving at your awards viewing party.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards, on Thursday, April 28, will honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music. The finalists represent a variety of Latin musical genres including Pop, Reggaeton, Bachata and Tropical, among others.
The Breeze of Miami cocktail, inspired by the rhythms of Latin music and the city where the awards will take place, is one of the best whisky drinks we’ve tasted. Marin said, “I wanted to create a drink that felt tropical, but sophisticated. The watermelon gives it a vibrant hue that reflects the colors of Miami, while the combination of coconut water and simple syrup speaks to the richness of Latin music.”
Raise a glass and toast salud to all of the deserving nominees for their hard work, dedication, and determination!
